Referring to your letter of the 6th instant we beg

to inform you that Mr. Bowl #y's letter was published in

the "China Mail"of the 6th instant the "Daily press" of the

7th instant and the "overland China Mail" of to-day's date.

It was to have been inserted in the "weekly presa"

to-day, but was accidentally omitted and will be inserted
